Sylvan Heights Bird Park in Scotland Neck, North Carolina, entrusted us to produce a captivating visitors' experience video—an immersive visual introduction now showcased at the park’s entrance. Designed to spark excitement and curiosity from the moment guests arrive, the film leads viewers through the sanctuary’s vibrant world of exotic birds, rare species, and lush, habitat-rich landscapes.

Produced in 2012, this video marks a pivotal moment in early aerial cinematography—back when drones were just becoming available to the public. We deployed a massive octocopter carrying a Canon DSLR to achieve sweeping aerial views rarely seen at the time. For sensitive zones where drone noise could disturb the avian residents, we engineered dynamic crane shots using a 16-foot jib, capturing elegant, ground-based motion with precision.
